What does Homer Simpson have to offer email marketers?

Mmmm donuts...“You can come up with statistics to prove anything. 14% of people know that!”

This is one of my favourite quotes from The Simpsons and it always gives me a good chuckle. Partly because I think it’s true. We live in the information age and you never have to look far to find numbers, statistics and charts on all sorts of topics.

But this doesn’t mean statistics is the enemy. If you filter through all the noise, the right type of statistics help provide insight and a better understanding of your own activities.
