Send better emails with our new editor
Over 80% of our customer’s time in Vision6 is spent editing or creating emails.
So we thought to ourselves, how can we make it easier for you to create compelling email to grow and promote your business?
We started on a development journey to find out what changes were needed. As we scoped out the project we found some things we could do immediately to make things better.
Enter mobile friendly templates! As you probably know we released this upgrade a couple of weeks ago and now it’s simple to create emails in Vision6 that look great on any sized screen.
But today I want to talk to you about our most recent improvements to our email editor. We’ve actually already rolled out the upgrade and you probably haven’t noticed anything different, but some really important stuff has happened behind the scenes.
This means it’s easier than ever to create emails in Vision6.
In the past sometimes it was a bit tricky to get your email looking exactly how you wanted. Maybe the fonts didn’t turn out as you expected or the formatting was a little off.
This used to happen because of the way your email was coded. You might have even had to fiddle with the HTML code to make your emails look precisely how you wanted.
Well you can now rest assured that your emails will have cleaner code, which means they will look exactly how you expect them to.
Some of the other nerdier aspects of the upgrade include:
- Cleaner code, so there won’t be pesky formatting differences between what you see in the editor and what your readers see in their inbox
- It’s now easier to edit and create bullet points and indenting
- Less fiddling around to edit conditional content – simply double click to edit
These changes mean that editing emails will be faster and easier.
But wait there’s more!
We have some really exciting future releases up our sleeve including a handy tool to convert existing emails to be mobile friendly, brand new templates and much more. Subscribe to our blog to find out about future upgrades.
