How to cut your surveys down to size

When it comes to asking customers to complete a survey, it’s generally the case that less is more.

The less information people need to provide in your survey, the more likely they are to do it. So to get more responses from your next customer survey, be sure to ask only for information you need and intend to act on.

But there’s also another way to cut down on the information you ask for in your next survey.

Stop asking for customer information you already know.

For example, if you already know your customer’s name, email and phone number, there’s no need to ask them for it again when they complete your next survey. It’s a waste of space and makes your survey look longer than it needs to be.

But at the same time, this information is important to you and should be stored in your survey database. So how do you capture this information from customers without them having to fill it out in your survey?

The answer is with a neat little Vision6 feature called Web Form Autofill.

It allows you to select fields in your survey database to be pre-populated with contact information you already have stored in your customer (or any specified) database.

To learn how to use Web Form Autofill with your next customer survey, check out this short tutorial video.
