Recently our Product Designer went to San Francisco and Silicon Valley with a group of 20 young people from Queensland on a mission called Startup Catalyst. The trip aimed to inject the entrepreneurial drive that permeates Silicon Valley into some technically-capable young people, so we push innovation forward in Australia.
Last week we held the 9th annual Email Marketing Summit of Australia (EMSA). What a day! It was jam packed with insights and learning from some of the best in the email marketing biz. We’ve pulled together a quick video wrapping up the day.
In August of 2015, I was selected to join a cohort of 20 young people on a tour of Silicon Valley.
Startup Catalyst aims to inject some entrepreneurialism into the Brisbane tech scene by exposing capable young folk to the fast-paced tech world around San Francisco.
What an honour to be chosen. I can’t wait!
Are you looking to kick more email marketing goals? Higher open rates, more engagement, better ROI or design improvements?
Then let us help you get there.
The Email Marketing Summit Australia (EMSA) is Australia’s premier email marketing event, designed by email marketers for email marketers.
With Father’s Day just around the corner it got me thinking. Last year I covered off what makes a really good Father’s Day email but this year I wanted to do something a little different.
I’d like to introduce to some of the Dads here at Vision6 and showcase their favourite Father’s Day emails, so that you can get an idea of what works best.
Plus we’ve thrown in a couple Dad jokes along the way… Because what better way to honour Dads than with corny jokes?
The Australian Email Marketing Metrics Report is a series of data reports produced by Vision6 that is updated monthly to give insight into the Australian email marketing landscape.
Each month to accompany the update we’ll be sharing with you a video covering off and interpreting the latest trends, stats and charts from the report.
Plus we’ll include some quick and easy tips to help you get more from your email marketing. This month we’re focusing on how to boost your open rates by crafting awesome subject lines.
There is something really satisfying about seeing your ideas come to life, isn’t there?
You know the feeling…
When you reach an elusive goal or taste a meal that took hours to prepare. Or the experience of handcrafted code running as intended.
Yes, believe it or not, writing code is an excellent way to experience an idea coming to life!
Unfortunately many think coding is out of reach so they don’t try.
Business owners need to be across so much these days. But the good news is that knowing a little bit of code can save a lot of time
As a business owner or a marketer it’s essential to understand how your various campaigns are performing. You need to know what’s working well and what can be improved.
One of the biggest strengths of email marketing is it’s reporting capabilities and metrics. Being able to see exactly who opens emails, when they do it and which links they click on is powerful stuff. Because it means you can see what works best for your customers.
Here at Vision6, we hire the best of the best when it comes to coders. Which is why we were stoked to get behind the CoderDojo initiative right here in Brisbane, which is shaping the next generation of coders. CoderDojo is a global volunteer-led community of free programming clubs for young people between the 7-17.
