Meaning of ‘Residential Premises’ and ‘Commercial Residential Premises’ |

Draft GST ruling GSTR 2011/D2 sets out the Commissioner’s views on the meaning of “residential premises” and “commercial residential premises” for the purposes of the GST Act. The Commissioner states that, for the purposes of both definitions, the physical characteristics and overall physical character of premises need to be examined on a case by case basis.
