A friendly message from the Logan City Mayor Pam Parker

Logan City is brimming with outstanding community-minded people who selflessly give their time to improve our remarkable city.
You might know someone who volunteers their time to help out our charitable organisations, our sporting clubs, our youth, our environment - anything to help make our city a better place to be.
If you do know someone like this, now is your time to say thanks in one of the best possible ways - by nominating them for the Logan City Australia Day Awards.
The awards are a fantastic opportunity for Council and the community to stop and recognise these outstanding individuals and thank them for their tireless hard work.
Nominations close for the 2010 Logan City Australia Day Awards on 7 December 2009 so I encourage each and every one of you to give a thought to someone in your community you believe is worthy of the honour.
To nominate, visit Council's web site.
I hope to see you at the Logan Entertainment Centre next January when we present these prestigious awards to our deserved winners.
Pam Parker
Your Mayor of Logan City
