PAST UWA STUDENT IN AUSTRALIAN U20 RUGBY WORLD CUP TEAM
Tom Murday was selected in the Under 20 Squad for the World Cup next month in Japan.
A skillful lock, Tom recently returned to Queensland after missing out on a professional contract with the Western Force. Tom played 2 seasons with UWA Rugby having represented UWA in 2007-2008 and studied Commerce. He made his Australian Under 20s debut at the inaugural IRB Junior World Championships in Wales, and he was a member of the Australia ‘A’ Schools side. His motto is ‘to give is to get,’ he admires golfer Tiger Woods for his consistency and named Duncan Hall, a former coach, as the greatest influence on his career because of his guidance. |
