This subscription form serves two purposes; 
(1) for horse owners/managers to register their contact details and location of the place where horses are kept (both street address and LotOnPlan from your rates notice).  Registration of the LotOnPlan location of horses is a legal requirement under the ammendment to the Stock Identification Regulation (2005) which was gazetted on 28th September, 2007.  This on-line registration is an interim registration only while the Equine Influenza emergency response is underway. DPI&F will complete the registration process at a later date and will issue each 'place' that has horses with a Propery Identification Code (PIC).

(2) to subscribe to receive the Equine influenza e-update newsletter (open to the non-horse owning general public) 

This data will be used in compliance with the DPI&F privacy policy.  Horse registration details may be used by the DPI&F to send important information about the equine influenza outbreak directly to horse owners. 

Horse ownership details are also important for disease planning and may be used in DPI&F veterinary surveillance and vaccination activities. For more information call the DPI&F on 132523.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING WHEN COMPLETING THIS REGISTRATION FORM:

PASSWORD - When you use this webform to register your horse ownership/location on-line, you need to supply your email address and a password.  This password should not be the password you use for your normal email account/program (eg for Microsoft Outlook, or Outlook Express).  Simply select a new password of your choice for this horse registration. Record this password and keep it in a safe place so you can access your DPI&F horse registration details on-line at any time.

HORSE NUMBERS - use only numbers (integers) in this field (e.g. use 7   - not 'seven' or '7 horses' or 'seven horses and a foal' or '7 chestnut brood mares')

LotOnPlan -  Use the format 1RP12345 
(do not use Lot1 RP12345 or Lot1 RP12345 Parish Bloggs in City of XYZZZZ)

MULTIPLE LotOnPlans - This form will now accept up to six separate LotOnPlans in separate fields. Below each LotOnPlan field there is a button for Own or Lease.  For each LotOnPlan please specify if you Own of the land or Lease (i.e. Agist) the land.

PIC (PROPERTY IDENTIFICATION CODE)  - Most horse owners will not have a PIC.  All cattle owners will have a PIC. PICs used to be called Tail Tag numbers.  PICs are issued by the DPI&F only after the LotOnPlan and other contact and registration details are obtained.  Please do not put LotOnPlan details into the PIC field.  Use the LotOnPlan fields for real property plan (1RP12345) data.

TIPS FOR COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION 

Do NOT use the ENTER key to toggle between fields - Use your MOUSE to select the next field.  When finished use only your Mouse to click the SUBMIT button. 

Once you have completed the registration process you can check and/or modify your records by using the UPDATE link and webform for your existing horse registation.  This weblink can be found on the DPI&F Equine Influenza website.
