This includes being able to view the TV guide, schedule shows to record, view your own personalised week ahead, see what is popular with other IceTV users and more. Depending on your recorder, remote scheduling can be as quick as 15min.

"We're confident that it will be one of the best TV guide options for Australian iPhone users and so far based on the responses we are seeing [users agree], with ratings of 4.5-5 stars [being seen] on iTunes," says Ice TV's General Manager Matt Kossatz.

The IceTV iPhone app will allow remote recording on any IceTV Interactive compatible PVR, Mac or Media Center PC, including the new Topfield 7100 and the Beyonwiz range of PVRs. Users can also see what the most popular television shows are for the coming week as well as create your own personalised TV guide with IceTV's My Shows.
