The Rudd Government recently announced a 5–15% greenhouse gas pollution reduction target by 2020. As a rich and very high per capita greenhouse gas polluting country, Australia is avoiding its responsibility to take strong action. In doing so, we are threatening the livelihoods and lives of millions of people in our region. Encourage our government to take stronger action by writing to Senator Penny Wong.
